I’m really happy with it. I really like collecting the oddballs. I even have the original little paper insert they sent out with them. It’s all in English though… We’re these initially sold exclusively to the US? I mean, I know it’s made in Italy. Just thought they’d have Italian writing on the insert

No, Sumo were sold both in Italy, through their website, and in various stores at the time, both in Europe and the US. The only model sold exclusively in the US was the WYYC2007, shipped to YOYOGUY for the World Championships in Orlando (the store was owned by the same person who organized the World Championships). The Ghost were the last Sumo sold and the most numerous because, after numerous anodizing problems, it was decided to sell them raw with engraved graphics.
The choice of the booklet written only in English probably stems from the fact that it was decided that it would also be sold in international markets… I don´t know, mine all arrived unpackaged.

Do you like those strings? I have a hard time figuring out if I like them or not I was using the gold one and had mixed opinions.
I had a hard time today it‘s been humid and rainy which is making all my string annoying.
I’m liking the pink one the best but I think I need to have recessed the gear oil for this thickness. Shoulda got medium lol but also the super thick string has something really satisfying about it so I’ll probably just wear down/adjust the response for it. I find it does perform well and all the ones I’ve been using look and feel identical to when I put them on so theyre gonna last.

Trying something a little faster. I love it. Not because it’s so fast that I finally feel free or anything like that. Because of its characteristics of changing direction with little effort and feeling very light in play make it great for me to throw for much longer before fatigue sets in. Also its stability makes it move very slow very good as well. Almost slow motion.
It’s yoyo-y enough. A Henry’s Jazz bearing diabolo as well as some quality hand sticks and proper diabolo string. It’s definitely smaller but when I got it spinning, it sure packed some power.
A week ago a certain gentleman DM’d me, commenting that after seeing me give away a few yoyos to other college students, he figured he’d make sure I’d have the means to do that again. He had 2 plastic Fulvias he wanted to ship to me on him. I of course accepted his generous offer.
