The YYF Short Circuit is actually a fun top, the string and button leaves something to be desired, but that’s most tops. The Spintastics Quick Silver Hybrid is one of my favorite tops, but it took me a long while to get the skill level to appreciate it. The S8 Alice is real fun, kind of in a little niche all alone.

Got a care package from a friend today!!
They included a stack MTG cards, an Unknown (my first!!) AL Butterfly, and a rather haggard Bathysphere that they attempted to strip with what I assume is oven cleaner.
Among other goodies 
Was a really fun package to come home to today!
I cannot recommend that method for stripping, as it seems to eat away deep and unevenly into the aluminum if left on too long, as happened here. I put a little time into polishing the pit marks out as best I could, and evened out the less stripped areas, and hit it with a quick metal polish cloth and added pads, brass mini domes (ultralights were nice too) and a bearing. I think it looks great, and plays fantastic! They included the flat caps, I want to try to dry the engravings with aluminum black.
Still needs a little work but I love it! Thanks Thomas!!

Nope, just an older chief that came with this box. Once I sold that chief, I knew in the future I just had to find a CHKNSTRPS Chief.

Recess Switch Hitter
Going to take a minute to get used to these! Haven’t decided which one I prefer yet. Metal cap is definitely much heavier and it feels really good. The plastic cap feels light but still manages to have a good deal of spin.
I do wish the center of the caps were recessed inward a tad bit more just for catch-ability / thumb rest while holding-sake.
(really wish have a nice nite glowed in the dark, come on Tyler!

Maybe my best haul yet! Finally got me a Bumblebee GT. In decent shape. A more modern Elfverson. The wider string gap gives it a totally different feel than the ones I’m used to. The Blackbird was a surprise. And never had a Trans-Axtion before, but looks like they’re using the same mold for the Butterfly XT now.

I actually broke my short circuit at the Nats, and it was the only one I brought. So I stocked up over at the YYE booth.
