I bought what was described as a 2022 prototype of the Mk1 Ringbearer on ebay! It’s totally unmarked(ha) and looks amazing with the clear ano and steel.
@MarkD Are you able to share any information about this guy? I have been meaning to get a Ringbearer and this was a good price. Are the protos any different from the production run? Aka do I still want a production version to compare or is this basically the same?

Gear 2 by Enso Yoyo
Just got another mini in the mail. This is in what I would call the Mini Medium Class (40-45mm Diameter). I’ve got a few similar that I was able to compare and the Gear 2 is the best in my opinion. You can see below in the comparison photo that it’s similar to the Outlier Mini. The Gear 2 is a tiny bit bigger, but both weigh the same at 66g. The Gear 2 also feels better in the hand. The profile is rounded and there are no sharp edges. And it’s $5 cheaper than all the others, which are priced at $65 new. The packaging is very nice too.
This was my first yoyo from Enso. They have great customer service. I emailed them at like Midnight on Sunday asking about this colorway and they just happened to have 1 left over. They sent me an invoice like 5 mins later. Great experience all around. Hope to see more from them.

Love this yoyo! It’s not even “good for its size” it’s just straight up a very good yoyo. Enso made the most blessed mini ever this thing makes me rethink my mini distaste but I still really need to try minis before I’ll buy them.

Sadly @yoyoknight has the last of my favorite colorway of the group.
hopefully they make more, there’s a couple potential colorways I could be tempted to double up for.
