How is the canary? I’m curious about underweight yoyos, torn between this and the RCS author.

I haven’t thrown it much yet. It’s an interesting feeling. It’s powerful, but does feel REALLY light!

Tom Kuhn No Jive made in SF, modified by Davidson Lathe Craft. Beautiful yoyo!

Maybe some unresponsive stalls will feel a bit more normal for the weight :yo-yo:

Looks like a great yoyo, enjoy!

Finally got one of the FD stem yoyo’s, the Snapdragon.

Also, picked up a few of these duncan “first yo” to give away to my friends kids. Honestly, not to impressed with these…But, they are soft. (At least they got that going for them)

Update:

I opened the second throw and it plays fine. It came double knotted. It is fun and functional.

The First one with feels like a rock on the end of the string. It hits the bottom of the string with a thud and comes up with a sharp jerk, very uncomfortable. I assumed the string was glued to the axle to prevent it from sleeping…but I think it just came with a bad knot. The yoyo doesn’t come apart and I can’t get the knot out with a pick…

So yea, ‘knot’ sure how/why it arrived with this knot…guess i’m gonna have to get a razor blade and try to cut the string out!

I shouldn’t have past judgment so quickly on this Duncan. But, this first one definitely needs a little help before it is enjoyable!

Dude. That’s one of the sickest Saturday markets I’ve ever seen! Nice pick up!

Dude! I find the FirstYo to be a solid fixie and this color is sick! Haven’t seen it yet.

I was honestly surprised by the capabilities. I set my sons up, basically exactly like I set up my butterflies. And it kinda rips. Maybe not quite as much as a butterfly, but wayyy closer than I originally thought they would, when they came out.

Just gotta be careful to not bump the silicone with your hand if you’re trying to do tricks that require any sleep time. lol

I think I do tend to agree that it’s not great for an ACTUAL first yoyo, but for a fun fixie challenge? Solid :joy:
