I’ve been thinking about that too, I’ve got a nice clear FH1 with a tube of acrylic paints name on it, but I haven’t found the time, motivation, or energy to do it yet.
I’ve also considered dyeing it instead, to my knowledge it’s a bit easier and shouldn’t introduce as much vibe.

Yo-Yo gifted to a friend. Received today.
A couple college pals visited last year. Wild Bill was throwing around my Duncan Butterfly so I parted with it. When he said he still “plays” despite cracking it. I figured it was time for an upgrade. Sent factory direct with a note to play over carpet.

I’ve been meaning to get a Luftverk 000 for many moons after constantly seeing the hype associated with them. I was just about to snag a plastic when I saw @Adrielecc was selling a mono. I’m really digging the throw and definitely get the hype now.

Back around Christmas time, I sent my mom and sister a list of yoyos that I’d like, on the off chance they actually decided to buy me a Christmas or birthday present. (Birthday was January 4th, and in the 38 years I’ve been alive, I’ve recieved all of 4 actual birthday presents. I usually get told “this counts as both” when they give me my singular Christmas present 
.)
But, family drama/trauma aside, I didnt expect anything from them at all, and by about the 2nd week in January, had basically forgotten I’d even asked…
Until this showed up from them this morning. I’ve been reaaaaally wanting to make the jump from responsive to unresponsive and this was my favourite plastic unresponsive on the whole list, so I was absolutely THRILLED to open it, and even more shocked to see that they had actually spent a whole $20 on the “problem child”. 
It’s hands down my new favorite throw.

I’ve been into the non responsive for a bit now, and have tried this one out today and it plays pretty nice! She refuses to let me put a die on the end of the string yet tho…. 
(I’m just playin with her, this one is all hers she deserves it!
