I have picked up some old school splash anodization thanks to @addiction77 and from @yodude19. These throw have been loved and these have dings and Ano flaws so no worries on dinging them. Been really getting into well loved throws. Throws are so pretty thanks everyone that has help along this yo-yo journey.
I apologize for my poor proof reading and poor spelling over the years… I am of Italian descent, and represent the Italian steriotype of being know for our unique grammar and spelling style. Thank you for putting up with it.
The Max . It’s pricier than the 2, but worth the extra in my opinion. Wide, super comfortable, and light on the string. Just a fantastic, chill throw that is great for learning with.
Mine turns a cool shade of copper when spinning, too. I don’t like their choice of colors, but this one has grown on me.
Hey there! Just got to your email, but thought I should respond here as well. @Shwa appreciate the heads up here.
I completely understand how you must feel, and that’s 100% not normal of the Ekta. The ones we pass QC are very, very smooth. Not possible to tell what happened with this particular piece until we get hands and eyes on it, but we’re more than happy to ship you a full replacement of course. Very confident you’ll be happy with a good unit
So sorry that this was your first experience! We’ll get to the bottom of it.
In the meanwhile, we’ve sent you an email with more details! Rest assured we’ll take care of you.
Grabbed the surveillance max! Mowls were always on the narrow side for me but now that they bumped the width on the surveillance I figured it was time to get my first Mowls. These are really good yos
I believe the only difference is the beefcake mod. I didn’t like the string that came with it. They were too thin and short imo. So I used a slightly thicker/longer string that greatly improved the playability. Its such a strange feeling playing this for a while then going to a full size yoyo.
I think its a special design bearing they made. Each bearing is 1.5mm wide so the total gap width is 3mm. But having 2 bearings does help keep the string centered in the tiny groove. There is a little bit of a learning curve but I enjoy it. I hit a beef hook right when I got it then took me like 30 more times before I could land it again. It’s difficult for sure but I like the challenge.
