This Monarch is amazing! Also got a SPUltra but it seems to be a bit less powerful. It also slows down a ton. I tried cleaning the bearing but I’m just not getting along with as much as this Monarch. This moves well. Super stable. And feels great. Are all the DD throws similar? I’ve been eyeing the Connection just because how impressive this is.

The Connection is very very good I have to say.

I’ll second @Tempura on the Connection. Easily holds its own against other highly regarded performance throws

Thank you for the love!
Connection is a lot more comp focused than Monarch, or any of our other throws.

The man himself! Thanks, what mono or bimetal would be most similar to the monarch?

People say emotion is similar but I don’t really see it that way. I think it’s a unique experience.
I guess connection will have a similar performance but at a much higher level

All 3 of them(Monarch, Emotion, Connection) have a similar cup design/profile but is a unique experience between all of them!

I got as Maple Dead 'Orse from Glen yesterday. It plays like a dream right out of the box. I think I have a new favorite Yoyo.

So nice. Very pretty maple. Those things arrive from Australia so much faster than one would imagine.
