Workhorse V2 Prototype - Yo-Yo Boomer Club powered by G2
In my yo-yo journey, I’ve learned an embarrassingly few number of tricks, while logging enough forum hours to question if I should find better use of my time.
I’ve accumulated a stack of YYE forum badges. Initiated a few popular YYE topics, steadfast in my shared thoughts with hardly a posting regret.
I’ve missed and secured yo-yos on release dates. Bought and sold throws on BST. Built a collection while never jeopardizing my financial stability.
Rediscovering a hobby that I can enjoy, playing purely for my own personal satisfaction, probably as long as I remain upright. Along the way, meeting some very welcoming yo-yo people!
With this acquisition, I’m declaring my modest collection … complete.

I love whittling and whittling/carving knives! I made my own with a Swedish blade i found at a Rockler store. Idk if you have Rockler in your state, but it is THE best place for woodworking needs.

I love Rockler. I only recently discovered it when getting into lathe stuff. I wish it wasn’t an hour drive away from me though. They are few and far between in my neck of the woods. I did see last time I was there they had a whole woodcarving section.

Thanks to @Tightwheel9 for hooking me up with this CoreCo Alleycat 650b. And to the peeps who bought my 3-pack cases recently and funded buying the 2 A-bearing yo-yos I’ve wanted for a bit and miraculously came up for sale when I had the funds!
I really like this one. I have it set up with the Lathed Back titanium A-bearing blank. Yes it fit! - the bearing posts are low enough and I swapped the stock 10mm axle for an 8mm one. Love how this is playing with thin string. Still considering swapping the pads for flowable silicon though.
For those interested, I’m thinking that I may put together a write up soon about all my metal fixies (as I jokingly call my “post-modern fixed-axles” 
) - how I set each one up and my thoughts on how they play and how various design elements effect fixie play.

Got the CLYW Kodiak monometal in the mail today, along with some Nytro string from YYSL. It plays great but is very intolerant of mistakes.
