I really like it! The Peregrine is my first bimetal, so I can’t compare with others. In comparison to the YYF Superstar 2024 which is my only other metal unresponsive, it feels much lighter and more maneuverable, but still stable. The tricks I know that require popping the yo-yo up all seem easier. The response on a bind is snappy, but I haven’t noticed any issues with snagging while doing tricks. I love the finish on this. This fiery colorway is great too, though it has some very yellow spots. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a great playing and great looking yo-yo.

The red with yellow rubber rims is a very interesting Aoda yoyo.

It’s been a while since I last visited China (June 2024). Every time I go there I discover something new in the toy wholesale district, but in Guangzhou, the largest, the number of wholesalers has halved, and there is no trace of the yo-yo boom that ended more than 10 years ago.
Meanwhile, I discovered AODA at a wholesaler in a rural area of the northeastern region! It was cast. Details are unknown, but it is a yo-yo with a cast body and a rubber protective ring.
It has a starburst response that takes advantage of the benefits of casting, a spacer system to ensure precision, and other AODA-like ingenuity that goes beyond just lowering the price. This model is a plastic yo-yo that has been turned into metal (die-cast), so it is probably not from the end of the boom, but from the early days of the boom, and is dead stock. It
may have been in stock in the past, but I looked back as far as I could and couldn’t find any records, so it may be the first time, and we don’t stock that many, so if you like unique yo-yos

I wish the stem of the stands were a bit taller. It came with a bearing on each yoyo half! I haven’t got to play it yet. Mostly got it just to look at lmao. When I get home from work in the morning I’ll play it and let you know

That looks niiice. Anything I’ve tried from dressel has been off the charts heat. Hobbygod knows how to make a yoyo. That’s for sure.

It plays as good as it looks! Very smooth/ no vibe. Even though it’s shiny it is really good at finger grinds. The outer rim isn’t the best for thumb grinds but the rim on the inner cup is amazing at it.
I give it a 9.5 out of ten overall!
If you have one in your cart debating getting it or not. Buy it I don’t think you’ll regret it.
If you look at picture three. The inner gold rim on the right side has a small manufacturing mark. The yoyo has a few of these. I still love this yoyo despite this issue.
