Very cool
Got this over the weekend but wanted to wait to post until I could take these.
Gnome Trooper!! This yoyo easily has the best artwork I’ve ever seen, I knew I had to have one when I saw it. Big thanks to @bobafret for adding me to the list even though I’m not in Denver or ever on IG!
First “regular size” D bearing throw and I love the way the bearing affects play at normal diameters. Overall an incredible yoyo that I’m going to be carrying with me in my briefcase. The artwork and color have already made great ice breakers all weekend when I was playing with it at NAMM.
After my bad adventure with the faulty Moonrock Pheasant, I got my replacement from the shop in “normal” anodization which honestly I also prefer, probably I had just a bad experience with that anodization but as said in other topics Moonrock is not great if you want to play the yoyo and not only collect it.
I think I will gonna stick with the “normal” anodization from now on, this model play perfectly and no problems at all.
Other than that, it is a really good yoyo, if I have to find a flaw in this product is the rejections like the magic drop and more complicated ones are not immediate and require a bit more of help from your hands, I think it is cause the shape of the yoyo, obviously still possible to do but need a bit more attention.
In horizontal is a beast!
Glad to see that you got a Pheasant mono that you can really play.
The galaxy is hot!
Yeah it’s great looking. I didn’t know beforehand what colorway I’d be getting. So I’m pleasantly surprised with this one. Looks similar to the Y01 Node I have but matte in stead of shiny.
Today I received the last two I needed to complete the 5 1965 original Duncan Sportsline series. I currently have the 8 Ball, Baseball and Amflite Bowling ball. There was an earlier AMF Bowling ball but it is currently more than I want to spend.
Here is the Golf ball and Basketball, I get a group photo up soon.
this is awesome
I’m still missing the 8 ball. I want to find the soccer ball from their later release
There are few dedicated 0A yoyos that shred this hard for this little money. $20 and the same guts as the RBC, the Origen. @MarkD crushed this design
