Just collect from the post office a Yoyofriends - Pheasant and a YYR DS bearing because once you try them you will never stay without.

I went for a moon rock colourway, I never had a moon rock yoyo so I was so curious, I still haven’t tried the throw but just touched and look at the finishing and it feels so weird in a good way.

Sadly I see around of people having issues with moon rock colourways, hope I have been lucky as I want to play this guy, already from the look of it remind me my dear Unprld - Recognition

Cool, I’ve only had string cut issues with moon rock like finish. Rubbing that part on a pair of jeans solved that

Og oxy ti today and it’s completely different from what I was originally thinking. I kind of thought it was going to be a brick but it just feels so maneuverable. Also while being heavy it doesn’t have a brick like feel. Don’t get me wrong it’s hefty but it has an even weight distribution instead of throwing it all to the rims. It’s a perfect undersized pocket yo for someone who likes dense yoyos.

First impression is that someone who likes the look and the play of the ReCognition will like the Pheasant (assuming they also like the Pheasant shape).

I really like the power/stability/weight of the ReCognition. The Pheasant captures all that for me with less actual weight (I feel the same way about the Emotion).

Apparently they don’t like when you compare it to the recognition. I complimentingly said that it looked like the recog shape/profile on their reddit post announcement and they seem to have become upset with me over it. This yoyo is still on my list of wants even though that though.

That’s interesting. There are certainly enough differences that I wouldn’t mistake one for another, but I don’t think it is crazy to see some similarities. Then again, the Pheasant has a distinct design history, so maybe that is the rub.

The comparison for me is 100% favorable.
