I have not. I’ve obviously seen him post here on YYE quite a bit and stumbled upon his instagram a couple months back, been following this project ever since.

i have played the previous revision of the design that has side effects and i think it is an excellent and very fun yoyo. incredible how much performance it has based on the specs and style (narrowish organic), clearly a lot of thought was put into the design.

People at DXL tried the SE version, i would say it plays closer to the Free Rider. The two versions had tweaks outside the SE to help me narrow down what I want to implement in the next version - they’re essentially the same yoyo, so both are “protos” in a sense.
The yoyo holds caps/infinity weight rings like a Freerider or Metal Zero does.

I ended up scooping a 1 of 5 Black Candy Blasted Wasabi from @fatguysnacks247 and he was super kind to toss in a FTY 138 with it! Really enjoying both of these undersized throws…now who has a metric Sized KK bearing for my ILYY to sell me?

Really my mail day for the year so far. Got a sweet powder coated OD that I laced up with blue eyes white dragon and a couple of audio components. Foolishly sold my HD 600 and needed one back in my life and the fabled IER Z1R. Has the best bass response out of anything I have ever listened too. Only slightly warmer than what I usually get but this is a greatest of all time as far as in ear monitors are concerned. It’s amazing. Have not put them down.

Not my EDC due to how fragile Mg is. However it is very nice. I am still deciding if it will get traded away soon or cemented into the collection.
