I started thinking about it last Fall, and very slowly have been working out the details since then.
I’ve gotta say…that looks like a very special and influential design. I’ve been trying to decide whether to get a wood or not, and I’ve seen a few intriguing designs but I’ve never had much love for fixed axle play since bearings were introduced. So this seems right up my alley. Thanks for experimenting and pushing boundaries.
haven’t spent a lot of time comparing them back to back, but I would say the delrin fh has a noticeably longer spin time, and doesn’t gas out and get wobbly as fast near the end of spin time.
Sweet, that’s awesome. Thanks!
sorry I check better is not the empath
how’s the top? it looks a lot like the vanitas.
The Top is actually a good yoyo and made better by it’s price IMO.
Better than some of my more expensive bi-metals.
No negatives from me about this throw apart from the bearing wearing out but I’ve got a few spares so not an issue for me. (Bearing should be fine for most but you never know)
No comment on horizontal play.
Don’t have a Vanitas to compare with so don’t know if they play similar but do look quite similar.
I went with this over the Colossus R cause of the bigger size and shape.
Got this as an EDC as I mainly play over carpet.
Hopefully we see it stocked in some shops stateside
squints metal. round. You sure it’s not a yoyo?
From Japan to Australia to the US they finally got here.
I’ll stop buying FH’s once I have them all.
Wish they offered all the caps separately, i have so many freehands…
Are the small ones the FH Minis?
Looks like just caps.
Yes, I think you are right.
