Always loved the look of the 28s. Now you’ll have to find a first run 28s peak to match it. Also surprised yoyobrothers didn’t get this one because I thought he bought Bens entire peak collection.

I wish I was into yoyo enough to have a “grail” throw.
To me all yoyos fall on a performance spectrum from bad to awesome, and on an aesthetic spectrum from ugly to sublime. I have no other attachment to them. I guess that’s a by-product of being so new to this hobby (got started summer 2018).

I only know who the previous two owners were (besides Ben), but YoYoBrothers totally could’ve owned this, I actually wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He’s been letting Peaks go (even the nicer ones) over the past couple/few years or so (I even bought one from him directly in 2021). And yeah… we’ll see about the first run haha… might have to be a few years or decades or so until I financially recover from this one

@GTDropKnot I caved and it rules. I thought it was actually gonna be bigger. Feels methodical, almost sluggish but not really. Massive. I knew a Turning Point was gonna be a pretty safe buy performance-wise. I love it so far! We’ll see if that changes the first time it clobbers me…
The Vosun Hæli was supposed to be my first titanium, I ordered the Titanic because I really wanted some titanium and I thought the place I bought it from was never gonna ship it. It actually shipped (nearly a month after the order was placed) after much nonsense so now I have 2 very different ti throws. This was heavily marked down as a b grade for ano flaws which are very minor. Plays perfect and almost “sings” while spinning. Even more bell like than the Titanic but it is less rim weighted and not as stable.
I already had the 000 but the porykon counterweight is new for 5a may. This style is so hard lol. 360 and 720 are ok but I think I just need more practice.

Hah nice! It took me until like right around now to have it start feeling like any other yo-yo now but I really don’t think I can go back now like it’s so good for me and I was doing speed stuff today w it and my hands can still go faster than my brain can keep up so yah it’s just amazing and Im a fan boy now

It is gonna be weird for a while for sure. I don’t know how long it will take to adjust but I’m in the heavy yoyo advocate club now too is all I can say so far! It does spin for a really long time.

I used a mega crash as my only yoyo for over a month in 2019. Switching back to normal yo-yos was… interesting.
