I’m really sure that all Onedrop yoyos without a doubt are great. Really, I am. But something in me makes me turn off to any Onedrop yoyo that doesn’t have side effects.

Sugar Glider is non-SE and also amazing along with others such as Nitro & SK top of mind… I have enough yoyos I’m willing to have some of column A and some of column B as flavor of the moment.
Admittedly, if I was restricted down to only a handful of throws I’d definitely prefer to have the SE options to vary it up. To each their own.

I am also a huge Icarus fanboy. If I ever get frustrated while trying to do a trick or get sick of missing the string while playing with a slimmer yoyo, I’ll pull out the Icarus for a nice smooth and perfect yoyo experience. It has a great comfy shape, high walls so it’s easily maneuvered, and the holes do make a fun sound when the string touches them while the yoyo is spinning. I also use 100% nylon strings and the response is perfect.

Yes! My initial thought after my first throw with the T1 was that it was super-light and had such a pleasant ting sound that I had to double-check the weight and see if it really was aluminum!

Didn’t get 'em in the mail, but picked these classic bois up in person today from a really nice dude near me who got out of the hobby awhile ago. He gave me an absolutely insane, unbelievable deal on them and I’m really happy I can give these throws a great home where they’ll be thrown a lot more often. The nostalgia is off the charts for me right now - these are the yoyos you dream about owning when you’re a kid.
