My Iceberg is the loudest of the plastic/ hybrid types that i own. I clean the bearing in mineral spirits and give it a touch of the brush in the MFD lube jar after wiping the excess from the brush. That little bit of lube really works wonders in quieting it down. It can add a bit of responsiveness if you use too much but when you find that balance, it’s a beautiful quiet throw. Plays awesome.

Only thing with mine was response, not sure if I just wore it out really fast or what but it got real slippy pretty quick. Flowed some silicone and the response is now super perfect!

Mine’s got 100% nylon on it, so slip shouldn’t be an issue. Looking forward to the pads and string breaking in a bit actually.

Saturday Market and Synthwave T1’s came in today! Being a Type 1 diabetic, this was about the most obvious yoyo purchase I could make. Picked up the SM for throwing at home, and the synthwave for throwing out and about. Also OD absolutely KILLED it on the Saturday Market on these, it’s the best I’ve seen in about a year from them. Loving the yoyo so far though, I’ll post detailed thoughts on it a bit later after throwing them some more.
