It’s the original. The Tiramisu 2 has a pink box and says “tiramisu 2” on it.
Freyja Proto. Interesting to feel the changes made to my favorite yoyo for the production run. They’re minor changes, but the more I play with it the more I notice them. I like the production run more, but both are really great. Weight, diameter, width all seem to be the same, but the gap width on the proto is slightly wider though.
The hub of the production run got flattened out and turned into a wider convex dome, which I’m guessing cuts down more on the center weight from the hub. The other two changes are that the cut in the profile near the response is just a bit sharper on the proto, and the outer rims are flatter. The production run is a bit more rounded on the outer edge and feels noticeably nicer on the catch.
Maybe somebody else will find this stuff interesting. Personally I really like seeing how a yoyos design evolves during the design/prototyping process.

New Fingerspin Weekender is a gorgeous brown/grey fade. My good friend bought the pink/grey one and we’re going to halfswap. Cant wait for the swaps color combo.
Its early, but I might like this more than the original. It feels more solid the string, similar to how the day tripper felt more substantial because it was similar weight in a smaller package.

Ah that’s interesting. I think the difference in engraving was very minute as well which is pretty difficult to notice. If you focus on the “GTR” engraving, you can see a very slight difference with the GTR Beta having a sort of white border around the word “GTR”.

Update after a week: This yoyo plays great, but I think it’s overpriced. It didn’t give me the premium feel when held in hand, and the surface finish is just OK. Personally speaking I think $160 would be a fair price, but not 240

FINALLY joined the RBC family! I can now see what all the hype was about, @MarkD and @Glenacius_K absolutely nailed the feel, weight, and especially the response on this thing. A future classic without a doubt. Glad I was able to cop one of these things brand new as well (there are indeed still stores with this colorway in stock!)

I’m not sure which is which, and I haven’t had mine long, but it seems fairly tough. I also have a Wangle in gold that’s about the same. Both are great!
