So far I like it. Enough that I am considering getting a gold one as well.
But I should also mention that I have a strong bias. I don’t like most UNPRLD throws. They tend to be too wide and heavy for my tastes. I do, however, like the Reduction and the CogLite because they aren’t big and bulky. The Elevation is a bit wider than I prefer, but the photos of it kept calling out to me for some reason and so I just had to try it out. And you know what? It isn’t bad for its size, especially since it isn’t heavy like UNPRLDs tend to be.

I agree. The Elevation is great! I thought it was heavy at first, but oddly it seemed just right now. Really smooth and deliberate, stays on plane well. Not my fastest or floatiest, but one of my favorites.

How does gold anodizing hold up vs plating?

The GTR Beta was made to collect feedback on the yoyo from the community, but somehow, the production run GTR is exactly the same as the GTR Beta, the only difference is the engraving on the rims and the GTR Beta being $10 more expensive.
I’m guessing no one gave Duncan any feedback on the GTR Beta.

I thought the Beta was just the early release, I would’ve given feedback had I known - even though my feedback isn’t worth mentioning. My Beta and the one I just bought are exactly the same, even the engravings.

So far it’s super smooth. Definitely larger than the Derti but I prefer the organic shape of the Derti.

I think I liked the D bearing better, myself. Gotta love RSO, though.
