It’s actually a 2009 - the 2008’s were filled in white.

Who made the string you included with it? The tag especially is a really nice touch, I love the art on it. The color choices and coordination look super classy.

The string was made by @JesterDClown and was included in each YoYo package from the prototype run. It’s a nice string and flowed well with the YoYo.

how would you compare this to overdrive draupnir? in terms of power, speed, horizontals, stable etc?
I was smitten with @adamantiumpops Wenge Bitterfly from @RC_yo-yo and had to get one of my own.
It plays awesome!
Rob even threw in a yo-yo stand and a small fixie.

Have been wanting a 5KQV for what seems like forever now. Finally got a minty mint black one thanks to @nomadicjester. This thing absolutely kills.

Unfortunately my hand isn’t granular enough to tell the difference clearly. If I have to say, OD Draurpnir seems to be slightly better at power & stability and Skyfish is the winner for speed. For horizontal I don’t know enough to comment.
They are two different yoyos, both with great performance, but I like the Skyfish better.

Just got the gtr wow i been throwing the grasshopper gtx alot and i hate to say it but the gtr is a bit better probably will sell the gtx red silver rims if anyone interested its little wide and very powerful thnx aaron

Yes these look nice i hear its good thr is a review on it. i have just the gtr ot plays similar like the grasshopper gtx just a bit bigger so plays slightly better i think
Just got an Amusing II. Really nice! I got the Deep State about a week and a half ago, and it’s pretty good, too. The other two are an OG Amusing and a Terrarian.

I got a bill for import duties for a package from YoyoFactory and one from LathedBackDesign…
Which makes me both happy and sad…
But at least I can expect 2 packages this week…one of which I’ve been waiting for for about a month.
