been rocking my deep state as a pocket EDC for months now and i’m blown away by how the finish has held up, even with my keys and the countless gigs i’ve done moving large, heavy loudspeakers lol

I was supposed to get something in the mail ‘Today’.
Home ALL DAY with the front door open. And in the late afternoon, I get a text stating, ‘An attempt to deliver failed for one or more of the following reasons: 1 no access to property. 2 locked gate. 3 dog on property 4 No secure place to leave package. 5 No authorized person to receive package. 6 No one answered door at residence. 7 address not clearly visible.
A few problems I had with that> 1 nobody even stopped close to our house all day long 2 sidewalk,steps,house, 100 percent access 3 no gate at front of property. 4 No dog on property. 5 carriers leave packages here and there all year long, lol 6 > 2 ‘Authorized people’ were home all day long 7 my address is clearly painted on the curb, on the left column that supports the extended porch coming up the steps and to the right of the from door, right above the doorbell.
Now, I honestly don’t mind exactly when something coming gets to me. But when the tracking number states that the package in on the truck, out for delivery, from a station that is only 15 minutes from my house, and they pull a fast one like that? I’m not feelin it…
Needless to say, I was a little warm under the collar
Ok… this story gets even better> after I posted my semi dramatic tale of wrong doing, l received a communication regarding my package. Will attempt again tomorrow. Then…. Very early this morning, I checked the tracking number and it says ‘On Truck/out for delivery’(6:10am). I suddenly blurted out a word you would never say in Church, and my significant other asked what was that about?
I told her, ‘Tracker says my package will be delivered between 12 and 4 today. What time is the Luncheon’? 1:30, she said. Oh Carp-fish! I don’t want to miss that delivery.
Later as we were leaving to get to my daughters house(12 minute drive) I checked the delivery time again. It changed from 12/4 to 2:30/4:30. I shook my head and we left. Meet…greet…eat… with Mo smiling and checking his phone every 20 minutes. More food…story telling and No Delivery news🤔
Right around 4pm, I told the family I had to step out for a few because I was on ‘Mail Watch’. They laughed, I left.
Almost zero traffic helped me get home in just several minutes. I pulled into my driveway. As I glanced to the right, I saw the truck right down the street bout half block away… Next thing ya know, he is delivering to the house next door. As he jogs back to the truck, I said, ‘Hello, I have a question for you. I pulled out my phone and already had the tracking screen up. I told him I was expecting a delivery today. He said sorry Sir, nothing for 749. I told him, you are incorrect, look at this. He said, sorry…… maybe Tuesday. I asked him why would it say on truck out for delivery today, and you don’t even seem to know about it?
Even though the temperature I am going to mention is not horrible for some of you guys, it was about 102 today. The delivery guy looked pretty brain dead. I felt bad for him. But at the same time, my life is a constant flow of ‘problem solving/that’s what I do, lol’.
So, I asked the guy, ‘Did you load your truck today? He said he had help loading the truck because of weather related problems. So I asked him in the nicest way to please check the truck….just in case the package was not properly sequenced(out of place).
He kinda huffed, paused, rolled his eyes and said, ‘Ok, I will check the truck just in case. Nope, nope, nope, not here Sir, sorry. Oh crap, he said, look what I found! 749? Yes, I said. He responded, ‘I don’t know how I missed that’?
He handed the package to me and I said, ‘Well, sometimes it takes 2 people to solve a crime. And if I would have just sucked it up and waited till Tuesday, that would have been a Crime!
I love stories with happy endings…

I re acquired a Spyy Punchline Repeater it has a few love marks but is still smoooth.
I had one of these back when it was released 2011. At that time I had a “ very limited “ trick list I could perform. I do not know what happened to it lost in the forgotten draw of yo-yo stuff. So I was searching and came across this one. I do not know how I could have put this down. Inexperience made me do it. Another throw I have to apologize to and make up with.

Had a couple arrive. Top Deck thanks to BST, one of a few I had coming.
Ari in scorched earth cracked coat. Love it. Easily my favorite Atmos and matches my RSO Lunar Gravity. Weight distribution feels lighter than Noah/Abel even though it’s not.
Abel, a perfect non-SE version of the Noah. Very awesome throws.

A few posts up, I shared the semi-interesting saga about the challenge of participating in the resolution of ending up with my own package🙀
For the better part of a day, things were looking pretty abysmal.
After I was successful in securing my package, I was upbeat enough to continue my tasks for the day, while the package sat safely on the top of the bookshelf.
Last night about 1am, I decided to actually ‘open’ the box. And……. after all my trouble, the adventure ended up being totally AbysmAL.
Fortunately AbysmAL can have a sunny side>
