I received my piece of Kansas today. A Wildwood (@Eric_Newlin) Maple throw. It is beautiful! It needs a W brand burned on it somewhere. Someday the Wildwood’s are going to be collectible. (Mine already is!)
A Lati Butterfly on the left (Batterfly? Looks kinda like cake batter ), and a Lati Mother T on the right! They’re beautiful! 66g each of pure gorgeous craftsmanship. Crazy amount of bonus points not only for the added string (literally put my last SE on the Bitterfly this morning, clutch), but also the immaculate presentation. I will 100% be getting more from Wild Wood Eric once he is free of the educational system.

Ditto on Wildwood’s shipping and presentation. @Eric_Newlin’s Wildwood yoyos could easily be a Premier Yoyo providers. My Wildwood Maple is one of the best throws I have. The extra strings were an added bonus.
Also, I have to say @vegabomb ’s Caveman Go is both a fine piece of woodwork and an absolute delight to play. I can’t believe I haven’t played one before. Whoever else got those other two he made recently are lucky!
That’s correct. It’s the Zipline kot-n SE, which stands for “summer edition.” It can handle heat and humidity a little better while maintaining good tension, lasts longer than bulk cotton, but takes a bit longer to break in the string. I highly recommend trying it or the regular kot-n.
Rich and Eric got you the answer, but I will add another glowing recommendation for both normal and SE kot-n. You wouldn’t think there could be much variation in cotton string, but those two stand out in play, longevity, and color (they are VERY white, in contrast to the ‘natural’ cotton beige of most cotton string). The cost is the only downside, as compared to bulk cotton they are very pricey. But with how long it lasts it sort of evens out.
