I have the glossy gunmetal from the initial release, which is awesome. I wanted one with a bit more visual appeal though. When i saw this with the brass rings, it was an easy “yup”.
Seriously, this color is really sweet. It’s got depth and detail in there. And, it’s green, which is a plus (right @twitch77 ?)

Looks awesome! Is it super light? I’ve been holding off on getting one mostly because the retro gamer was advertised at 39g which seems way too light to me, and it looks rather similar.
Great service from Yoyo Expert. My commemorative edition Duncan Freehand arrived today. The endcaps are very nice and I like the red color blended into the marble look body. I have to say it is kool and collectable.
PS. I have a white die. I should have included it to make the red, white and blue set.
I was afraid it would be light too, I usually loop Tom Khun’s fixies and they’re a decent weight. but the SEten is perfect to me, a touch lighter and I think it’s a plus.
The diameter is touch larger than normal so I think that helps bring the weight loss back from its thin profile. I have big hands so catching this puck feels great on snappy returns, and-boy can she be snappy after a strong sleeper.
If you don’t like it for any reason I’m sure there’s plenty of folks here that will gladly compensate you to take it off your hands, it is a fine spool; hell I’d be inclined to pull it off you to keep a surplus supply just in case. But I’m sure you wouldn’t wanna let it go once you’ve taken it for a spin.
that presentation is awsome lol, I have a first aid kit pelican case that I converted into a yoyo maintenance kit, sticker bombed all around; would look great in a photo shoot next to that Catch 22.

I have one and I can tell you that it’s glass smooth (like clyw glass smooth). Just like any other art yoyo it plays very chill. Light on the string, very nimble/floaty with an undersize feel too it.
I’m still a little sick, but I did pick it up a bit yesterday and have to say it is nice and light, floaty, and fun! The wide catch made it really easy for me to land tricks (which was great since I haven’t yoyoed in about a week now…covid sucks!)
Mine is pretty smooth too!

I really wanted some of the Mowl branded Kitty string because it reminded me so much of the goldenrod Kitty that came packed with CLYWs for a bit. The new gold is a bit darker than the old goldenrod, but it still looks really nice.
Yeah, that older goldenrod is fantastic looking. I wish they would re-issue that color.

Wow so worth the wait. I got 2 decades but tbh i just snagged a 2nd mini wide to edc as it clicked with me soooo much more than the decade. I love the novelty of the small size and the stability is literally insane. Such a fun challenging throw to land tricks on due to size too
