I got the capped American for that same reason lolol. Its the unresponsive yoyo I keepin my car to carry around during errands. I’ve already successfully blown away 2 people with a quick DNA on command lolol
So why is that YYF fingerspin DNA only available in Europe?
Maybe it’s to help push sales through YYF’s player affiliate stores. Kind of like how you had to get the Godspeed off Angelo’s affiliate store for a bit at first. The DNA is available on Gentry’s affiliate store for US customers.
Lol, im in the same boat. I really need to learn how to do it, but it’s not really a trick I “feel” so when I jam I just don’t practice it. It’s just a real grind to practice cause when you mess up, you kind of have to take the string off your finger and unwind the tension. Im usually not in the mood for this; id even practice horizontal stuff over the DNA/helix. But it is a nice trick and id like to learn it
One of my solutions to this is to practice finger grinding for both left and right throws… which i will admit throwing too my left side was very awkward at first, but i got used to it and if nothing else i reversed the torsion in the string. I recommend practicing throwing in both directions. It requires a diffrent bind. But it’s worth the effort, especially with any yoyo that has a finger spin cup.
In this tutorial they teach you how to bind for throwing a fingerspin in either direction
Hey guys. What do you think is better. Peregrine Vulture or Hummingbird. Your thoughts appreciated
Yes lol
I can’t say which is better, but I can say which I like more: the Hummingbird. It is lighter, faster, and more powerful (i.e., has more spin time/power). All the things I look for in a bi-metal.
Thanks for reply. Sounds interesting.
Received a few yo-yos over the week. The slam dunk feels amazing in hand.

I don’t have the Vulture, but I have the other two. I prefer the Peregrine over the Hummingbird, but not by much. The Peregrine feels a bit more solid and is a little slower on the string (still fast compared to most), but more controllable for me. It is also more powerful so it spins longer. Hummingbird is above my skill level to utilize properly though. It is one of the fastest yoyos ive ever played.
Just to venture a guess, the Vulture is probably the most stable and long spinning, but the slowest on the string. I prefer W shapes over H so I won’t be getting it, but I imagine it is on par with the other two in terms of being a good yoyo.
Hmmm. Youve made it very hard to make a choice
I couldn’t agree more with what @eternalmetal just said above…. It’s the extract reason I like the Hummingbird just a bit more than Peregrine. LOL.
I haven’t played Vulture.
Good luck, either one and you’ll be pumped.

Colorway is amazing. The brass goes so well with the green/ yellowish flame looking colors on this throw. @hobbygod , incredible work on this!
Enjoy the throw my friends

Love that colorway!
Thanks for picking one up!! Definitely a risky colorway for us when we first came up with it but it’s the most popular of the brass.
