What are your favorite organic yo-yos with long spin times?

And it sounds cool, too

Gonna add one to this list that I don’t think anyone has mentioned. I just got it today, it’s amazing…

For some reason I feel that you’re a bit biased in your opinion :joy:

You’re not wrong though.

Absolutely bias, but facts based.

How are D bearings good for spin time? D bearings/ smaller bearings give more power initially off the throw but then spin time rolls off quicker? That is the physics of it iirc from don watsons yoyo physics or no? Am I remembering wrong?

I mean c and d bearings aren’t that big of a size difference but yes smaller bearing higher initial rpm that tappers off quicker. Generally smaller bearings use wider pads resulting in snappier regens which means you can regen off a lower rpm than with a larger bearing setup. This is why smaller bearings work better in loopers and responsive throws.

This is at least my understanding. Someone with expert knowledge is welcome to prove me wrong

Also I imagine there would be better size bearing but c are just the most readily available size and no one wants to go back to non standard parts for every single YoYo you own. There is probably some math that can be done to min max a design but I doubt it would be worth the minor improvements and it would not be economic

The Cura was just released, any thoughts about it?

Heaven sent creep is the greatest of all time for good organic yo-yos.

Mowl’s obsession+ is one on my favorites. Good pocketable size with tons of power and stability. Just a joy to throw.

For monos I agree that the Creep is among the best all-around yoyos out there. The YYR Tricklab Standard is outstanding, though it’s not quite a pure organic. The OD Wizard is good too.

For bimetals, the CLYW Gorge is one of my all time faves and it has great spin time. But that’s more of a bonus—what I love is the fun factor. The binds, regens, and flow of that thing are pure bliss. Also the 2sick Grandmaster is excellent if you can find one.

Finally the YYR Anomaly and TP Ziz are powerful, semi-organic, and will not leave you wanting in the performance department.

I don’t have the Cura, but I agree with you on Atmos. My problem is which ones to purchase, as I can’t afford all of them. I have five now and I’m currently obsessing about purchasing the Cloudberry OS!

I also can’t decide on colorway. So far all my Atmos throws are Cherry Peach (except for my first one, a Noah, which is Grapefruit Lava), but I’m really loving the Seafoam! Do I keep the Cherry Peach theme going, or do I branch out?

Yes, I got one recently and love it. I also have to add my HSPIN G&E 4 Black Lilly and PYRO Light, Duncan Freehand AL FH1, YYF Edgeless, SPYY Radian MKII, Anti-Yo Fluchs, and my Dif-e-yo GTO. They all spin fine.

I love my organics!!

This is #6 from Atmos, and all of the previous ones have been great! Atmos has definitely become one of my favorite yoyo companies!
