Alien Galaxy edition Shutter, picked it up at BAC last year when YYE did its pre-release. Of all of my throws, this one so far probably has my favorite anodization jobā¦and I like how every Alien Galaxy Shutter is completely different.
Also messing with the Werrd Minute, one of my favorite go-to yoyos to dateā¦which can change tomorrow when my 5 new throws come in (Y-Factor being potential new favorite, really looking forward to this one).

werrd hour⦠i love how big this thing isā¦
Left my throw at home before work this morning, now I feel fidgety.
I did that the other day for one of the only times in ~3 years. I am putting a Lyn Fury in my glove box so that it never happens again. (until the day I leave without the vehicle and have forgotten a yoyo).
GMTA! I was thinking earlier that I could bring my Lin Fury and leave it in my desk.
Iāve got work already covered. Thereās a Pulsefire and a Gambit here.
Throwing a OD Dang. The first OD out of the 3 Iāve tried that Iāve liked and wouldnāt change at all. The valor came close, but a blasted finish really needs to happen for me to buy another one.
OD Y-Factor
Just noticed something here. First off Iām going to guess that each splash colorway is unique and that no two are alike given the process it goes through and being hand-done. With this said, Iām thinking mine might actually be the āmodelā that was used in YYEās photo
The Y-Factor is insanely smooth, pretty stable and fairly light, can tell it wants to move fast!
^^ Thatās so cool!
Dark Magic and Dark Magic II.
It started when I pulled the Dark Magic out of cold freeze (my basement is chilly) semi-randomly. I think Hillary Clinton was running for president last time it got so much play (a win for the phrase āSome things never change.ā) Itās the light blue and it matched my bedroom color at the time when I had it sitting on my desk as my go-to throw for that part of the house. Playing the original DM led me to seek out its successor which got tossed somewhere along the way in an old case with some Jurassic period throws.
The DM II impressed me again. I knew the design was timeless. I just forgot, and not for the first time, how good this guy could play. Not a great value at the retail price, but probably too often disregarded as a good choice even today for intermediate players.
Agreed. The DMs are like a mini palpitation
Iām feeling Crayon a eighty-six400 for the day.
Today, was a mix of the Horizon, OD Y-Factor, and starting to mess around more with the YoYofficer Musket which Iām finding to be really stable!
Canāt forget the fixed axle woodies either (TMBR Baldwin and No Jive)
