The wizard. It looks nothing like him, but I was somehow reminded of Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I misquoted, though… should be, “There are some who call me… Tim…?”

I thought that was the reference you were going for, it’s been years since I’ve seen it though so the memory was a bit cloudy. I’m a huge DnD fan, so he’s being displayed by my Elminster novels, though Tim is a good name for him as well.
