Aftershock when I finally open the mail
How is it?
Got my aftershock yesterday but had no time to post photos or give a first impression.
It’s great, but to be honest I feel like it plays very very similarly to the original Quake with just a tiny bit more heft and slightly slower but not nearly to the degree of the AL 7 Quake. This isn’t a knock on the yoyo in any way at all, the Quake is one of my absolute favorite yoyos and the AL 7 Quake is crazy good as well, but so far I’m not absolutely convinced that I need to own both a Quake and an Aftershock. If the Quake had never existed or I purchased the Aftershock first I would be singing the praise of the Aftershock, but I’ve already slobbered over the Quake for the past few months. For people that prefer full size throws then the Aftershock will be absolutely perfect, so far I’d say that I personally still prefer the Quake by a narrow margin. The Snozberry ano job on the Aftershock is a total home run, so I will definitely be holding on to the throw for a while before I make any decisions regarding selling/trading it.
Bought another Protostar that arrived today as well so threw that a while. Decided I needed one for a car throw/something to walk the dog at my dog to antagonize him. Also threw some Pulsar Genesis, Aviator and other stuff briefly.
Pulsar Genesis envy over here. 
I am throwing the Royale with Cheese again, after having thrown a tonne of Rex last night, too.
