Genesis…was going through my metal cases throwing stuff I rarely play to make sure I didn’t care if I never threw it/saw it again before taking pics to post in the BST later and got stuck playing the Genesis. I think it will replace the Yuuksta as my travel throw from now on now that I’m a full sized junkie. It plays awesome and I have very little emotional attachment to it.

How do you like it? IDK why but that seems like the high end yoyo that I really want to be my first.
Yeah, it’s really nice! Definitely on the stable and deliberate side of things, but without being TOO heavy. Forced to pick, I tend to go with lighter more nimble yoyos like the Puffin and Code 1, but since I’m NOT forced to pick, I get to play great yoyos like this, too. 
Or same answer just re-phrased: it’s not as light and nimble as I typically prefer, but nor is it a total tank on the string. Wonderful middle-ground and fun to throw. Glad I got one!

Genesis, Mutant DNA, Chief. Put Venom on my AC and Cascade…don’t think I like it. Probably going to stick it on other yoyos and put used Type X on the AC/Cascade.

Protostar…I take back all the terrible things I said about it. Put in a flat bearing and got the halves aligned perfectly. After hating it and hating on it for years it plays great now, no vibe. Happy with Yuuksta/Genesis as my travel throws, I think the Protostar will make a great car throw since I don’t care if it gets banged up in my center console.
