I’m off of work today so I’ve been throwing everything I own, but I can’t stop going back to the Positron I got yesterday. Such a great throw.

Rally, Strix, Chief.
Chief came today so throwing that. As expected, it is not the ultimate yoyo that outplays every other yoyo I have ever played as rave reviews online might have me believe. It does however play great and look awesome so I’m very happy with it.
My Chik has finally grown on me as of tonight’s hucking-around session. I just wonder if the format:C will displace it and cause it to collect dust… 
So yeah, throwing poiple Chik with a green Fat Chick on it.
Makes me wonder if I should get poiple format:C … !

If you mean me I definitely didn’t intend it to be an “I don’t like my Chief” post. On the contrary, it is fantastic. Although I obviously haven’t been able to play it a ton, so far I’d rate it right along my OG Avalanche as far as stability, smoothness and general playing ability goes, and I think my OG Avalanche was clearly my best playing yoyo that I owned prior to the arrival of the Chief. Just saying that I tried to have realistic expectations of how it would play (which is obviously a subjective thing in many regards anyway) since it took me so long to finally buy one and it has one of the strongest followings of any yoyo on the market today. It met my expectations and surpassed them. I’m also really really happy with the colorway I wound up with (Canadian Gothic) despite not being able to find the Broken Twill which I thought looked incredible in the pictures I’ve seen. I debated between a few colorways but wanted to go with something that (so far) isn’t a flagship colorway and those 2 were my top picks.
Still throwing the shiny new Chief as well as a little bit of OG Avalanche and Puffin. When playing the Puffin after the Chief/Ava I can definitely see why some people wouldn’t be a fan but it is really such a neat yoyo, I love it.
