Upgraded Supernassic and a Clova
Protostar and bumblebee all day. Have to wait til 1:03 am in the morning to use my g funk. Silicone is drying.
Poiple Chik and a red YYF One.
Lots of Profly today. I also broke out the old Turbo Bumblebee GT.
Mostly my Butterfly and a bit of Fremont. ;D
Is the butterfly just as good as any wood fixed axle? I dont understand how any of them are different if there are no bearing.
Usually my sliepnir since I got it 2 days ago love it and if Iām not throwing that Iām throwing my chief
YYF proton galaxy edition!
My Butterfly was almost unplayable until I made the gap smaller and more responsive. I felt like a complete noob. Now, Iām really digging it and surprised at how much spin Iām getting out of it. It doesnāt have the weight and spin time for me to be able to do as much as on say my Tmbr Turner, but I find that I prefer to stall often in the middle of combos anyway.
My Butterfly is as responsive as it gets. The gap is pretty thin indeed! Probably there are variations off the assembly line. If I made my Butterfly more responsive, a string wouldnāt fit in the gap!
Definitely not all fixed axle throws are the same. Butterfly is unique in its light weight and high responsiveness (at least in my experience). Some of the wooden throws are less responsive and spin longer, but are heavier. Most people prefer a bit of weight, but man I love me some Butterfly from time to time.
That said, you could do worse than a Butterfly to start some fixed axle play!
That is good to know that yours arrived very responsive and that mine is just an anomaly. Until I modded mine I thought there was some hidden technique that I hadnāt learned yet.
My new yyr messiah
I love the messiah.
Today Iām back to the Hyperion. ;D
Dietz and Puffin just came in the mail so Iām enjoying them atm
