I got the idea from Escolar back when I was up in the Bay Area - he was the first person I saw using a dual pad recessed FHZ, though Iā€™m sure Takeshi did a good number of dual pad recesses for other folks as well. I like dual sili quite a bit, but the better Iā€™ve gotten, the more I dig the dual pad recess setup. It seem like it gets more spin, at least so long as you keep it in plane, and the bind just feels good
