Looks like Im getting an exchange. I’m glad I ordered the other one, at least I get to play one Recog (Pictured above) while I wait for the other to be exchanged.
I just have terrible luck lately and it’s annoying to deal with. I wish I could just buy in person regularly.
Two Wide Angles I bought had issues and now this. And I’m not super picky, every Wide Angle I bought had some vibe, but at a certain point it’s just annoying, especially when it comes to limited editions. I feel like there should be extra quality control for those. Do some companies just expect some people to not care or does some stuff just slip through the cracks?
awesome, i really like it a lot. i’d been throwin a confusion courtesy of @rssbrry for a few days and that thing snaps like an alligator. straight out the box this is more on the semi-responsive side than that, but less so than a deep state…at least i’d say… all running stock.
i spent some of last night playing back and forth b/w other responsives (deep state, theo, confusion, 650b)… i’ll be comparing some more over the next few days… respawn (area51) is def a keeper though, i’d get another
Haha. I saw you on Instagram whiffin’ the yoyos I sent you and said, “Smells good, Glen, keep 'em coming.” But don’t you find the purpleheart yo to smell like some unrighteous combination of vomit, blue cheese and used socks?? That wood stinks, man.
This thing is FAST. Very stable, and has a long spin time. I’m kinda digging that nice metallic green color.
It’s what Yuki Nishisako used and got 3rd place in WYYC 2018 and 2019. It’s kinda odd - since he scored the highest in Technical Execution points over everybody else, yet only got 3rd place
YYE listed it as having a 42.15mm width only so I thought I would be getting a narrow yoyo. To my surprise, when I compared it against my Monster Edge ( which has a width of 54.95mm), the Flashback has a slightly wider catch zone!
Here’s the image comparing it side by side (seem to have some barrel distortion going on in the sides):
