What are you throwing today?

I’m gonna pick up a Machination around the Thanksgiving holidays. I’ve talked to them via Toybania Instagram and it seems they have it in stock in the US. I did made sure to mention I saw good reviews on the yoyo and have even seen your videos.

Seriously I think this yoyo is very good, based on the reviews, and every comment I’ve seen online. YYE should definitely start selling this. @YoYoExpertGarrett

Cool. I always thought I didn’t helped Vivek at all with the sales of yoyos. It’s cool to know I indeed did. Almost wish I was still on that team so I can ask Vivek for more stuff lol.

Finally get a chance to snag STR. I really enjoy it! Now i really think that STR might be supeeer underrated by most of us. But probably just because STR (or maybe invaders must die) was completely covered by Draupnir greatness, and we expect more.

Anyway, it’s a greaat yos. And the color is reaaally cool :sunglasses:

Nice! I think I enjoy the Parlay more each time I play with it and I have played with it a LOT!

It’s so beautiful. And I’m sure it plays great as the OG hummingbird is super nice.

It’s petty, I know. It is so engrained into the community’s vocabulary that “tension” has developed a completely different meaning.

tenor

You are referring to the term for the deformation.
However, due to torsion tensions are created. And this is exactly what you are dealing with yoyo strings. Tension created by torsion moments.

How does the Anomaly play? I’m thinking of getting one.

It plays great. It is my favorite YYR model, and one of my favorite bi-metals. However, with a width of only 42.5mm it is a bit on the narrow side (which I like, but it might not be your cup of tea). With yoyo widths growing wider and wider every year, it won’t be long before the Anomaly is considered a slimline throw.

Out in the desert with an unresponsive B-Grade Basecamp Sherpa strung up with Knot Bads.

Another +1 here for the MachinaTion. I snagged the mystery fade back when Vivek was taking preorders but always thought the black & gold half swap looked neat. One of the few throws I considered getting two of.

Found my old yoing glove I use to use in the early 2000’s! It’s a billiard glove I picked up and it’s noticeably higher quality than any other glove I’ve tried. It wasn’t super expensive but the cloth is slightly thicker and feels more premium, the stitching is really well done, the thumb is actually a seperate piece that has been stitched on, and there’s seperate cloth between the fingers that’s been stitched on (haha no idea how to put that in words).
It’s just really nice and feels way better to wear than any other glove I’ve owned (I don’t wear gloves often).
Fun find  I thought I’d thrown the glove out years ago.

this is a stock image…i’m too lazy to take my own photo of the glove atm! lol

Lately it has been this bi-metal which is the Smashing Yoyos Spectacle. The only bi metal I have enjoyed so far

The current is my signature throw. I’m very glad to hear that you enjoy it!

I’ve had the Eternal Throws Current now for almost a year and it still holds up above a lot of this year’s great releases and is still really smooth. Today I laced my Current with some lime green Sōchí Fats.

Yeah it’s no fun getting a yo-yo in and not having time to play it before work.
