man this is the first time I’ve ever heard this
in concept anyway lol. Don’t quote me on it, I don’t actually have a draupnir and last touched one a year and a half ago or something lol.
After playing with the 25g version for a bit, literally every yoyo I throw afterwards feels like the brickest of bricks lol. Putting the weight rings back in felt like a crime, then the yoyo exploded and pieces went flying everywhere. It was great lol
Omg this is amazing you are a true American hero my friend for running this insane test!
I love this kind of yo-yo science

This is OFFICIALLY @drewtetz approved!!
So, does this make us half swap bros?
The Rain City and 24k Whips Collaboration / Retro Rocket in the DHD colorway with Airetic Hyper-Pink Slims. This one has still been a favorites of 2019. Wondering What happened to my undersized yos? This is a fun new one that is still around.
Been trying to learn a couple new tricks, i I’ve been tossing my top yo dominator the last few days. I’m proud to say I’ve finally landed kwijibo for the first time since I started trying 4 months ago! now onto turbocharger! Laced with my first poly/nylon blend!
Dropped by Tiki Tiki Board Games as the last stop of our road trip and lucked out on a Duncan Orbital GTX! Just got home and can’t wait to string this up
Can’t wait for YoYoExpert to drop the Yoshicuda X so I can snag it and the Grasshopper X to complete my Duncan X/GTX collection
Oh, that red/silver combo is beautiful!
But what board games did you get?!
Haha we actually hit up two other game stores (One Eyed Jacques in Richmond and World’s Best Comics & Games in Newport News - I have friends who work at both) and ended up snagging Descent 2nd Ed from one and a character expansion for it at another.
Wifey and I were really tempted to pick up Zombicide: Black Plague and Blackstone Fortress but we restrained ourselves since we already have a bunch of other games to play and a box filled with Reaper and Wrath of Kings minis to paint.
Edit: @mentioning @gregoryfromearth because I apparently didn’t reply to his post and there’s no way to edit that
I really like Zombicide: Black Plague, but it’s the only version I’ve played. Descent is on my list of games I need to play.
note: I did get a notification that you replied, and another for the mention. I haven’t quite figured out what replying to the last post in a thread means either.
Oh cool! Yeah I have no idea what the replied to thing means either then haha.
From what I understand, Black Plague is considered the best of the Zombicide line because of the blocking mechanic. But that said, I haven’t tried any of them yet.
Really glad we snagged Descent and can’t wait to get it painted up and ready to play. It’s an unofficial early bday present for my wife. She apparently played it at GenCon (idk how I missed this; I was probably wandering vendor hall) and really enjoyed it whereas I actually didn’t know what it was. Ironically, I’ve been trying to get her to try Imperial Assault with me but she always thought it was Star Wars Legion. Now that she knows that it’s Star Wars-themed Descent, I might actually get her to try it haha.
