I love the skeletool! Such a great design!
Despite having an extensive fixed-axle collection, these are still my three favourite fixies - Postmodern Fixed-axles.
ZGRT - El Tio: Slim and hefty, the design of this yo-yo is gorgeous. It has such a unique feel in play - a bit reluctant to flip, it so rewarding to land varials and kick flips on. Loaded with ZGRT D blank, clear flowable silicon, and X-thick Twisted Stringz.
MK1/SW - RBC: Dubbed Blueberry , this guy remains my everyday companion yo-yo going almost 3 years strong and having survived well over 1000 hours of play to date. The RBC is comfortable and capable. While not being particularly forgiving, the RBC rewards clean play with smooth nimble movement that makes it equally satisfying and frustrating to play with - depending on the day
. They are skill toys after all. Loaded with the ZGRT MR85 blank, stock pads, and Reg Twisted Stringz.
DocPop - Weekender V2: With its flaired shape and high wall, this is the most forgiving of the three (some might say most performant). I think the extra centre weight of the pullstart version gives the yo-yo lots of control and nimbleness through flips and varials. Loaded with a home brew A bearing blank, clear flowable silicon, and X-thick Twisted Stringz.
I don’t, unfortunately, own any of those, but they look more glossy than I’ve seen in photos. Did you refinish those?
I haven’t changed the yo-yo finishes at alll. But the RBC has become quite polished over the years. Here you can see what it looked like before.
The El Tio is titanium, this one is in the limited blue anodizing. The Weekender is pyramatte - it is machined by One Drop.
I see! Thanks for the explanation.
Organic September Day 9:
Atmos Projects Pomodoro
Super controllable and spins forever. The best-playing Atmos I have. Hard to capture the exact shade of purple, but it’s absolutely gorgeous
*So much to do tomorrow I probably won’t get to throw much/at all so, I cheated and started the day a couple hours early so I could get some good time in before the wife got home

I don’t have that one and I’m a little surprised at your comments. I avoided it because it looked like it would be more center weighted with that buldge and I thought, less stable. Shows what I know!
Kicking’ in with the beater and FHZ. Experimenting with different o-rings I have around the shop and at home to dial the zero in just right.
That looks like a nice one. I haven’t seen anyone comment on or review it yet.
Been planning on a video for a bit. It’s probably my favorite comp style bimetal at the moment. Only yoyo I have 2 of on purpose.
Nope, you’re absolutely right. Definitely more center-weighted than their other organics.
Maybe stable was the wrong word. It is fairly sensitive in that small tweaks will easily move it, but these movements are also very predictable and controllable (it’s fairly heavy). What I was trying to say was that I find this throw is pretty forgiving with my poor form. I find it easy to get a perfect initial throw out of it where with other yoyos I often get some tilt and have to adjust before going in to more technical tricks.
Thanks for the feedback.
That’s a beautiful Pano!
Organic September with another Bi-Metal, This is the Koi Bi-Metal Prototype with the same dimensions and shape as Koi but at 64grams, not to be confused with a Stingray, 1st Class Kitty Fat
@Mazdarx7FD YYFr’s should run these, but maybe in 6061 at 62 grams AKA “Koi Lite” I would buy that Yo-Yo
