It’s definitely a conundrum.
I tried the tomato rings but they covered up too much of the cup. The lettuce rings are definitely better in terms of aesthetics in my opinion but yeah, they dampen the sound.
I love the look and the play feel in this set up though, so I’m going to roll with it.
