Enso Equanimity with a fresh nylon/silk string!

I found a spool of wooly nylon I bought for a sewing class a while ago and I have been experimenting with it. 2 wraps of silk and 8 of this nylon makes a pretty nice string. I wanted a little bit longer ones for tech so I am twisting 11’10” down to 9’6” and this one turned out great.

I took the idea of nylon with core string from Zipline’s Skyline III composition and did 2 core threads instead of 1. I think my nylon is just the cheap stuff from joanns but the label is long gone. I would say mine are not nearly as soft but are more whippy but I think it’s from twisting them tight and cheap nylon. Perhaps washing them will soften them.

That looks like a beautiful scene. Here’s one near me. Peaks of Otter near Bedford VA

The scene from the top of that mountain is phenomenal. This place is at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains so when you look west it’s all mountains and when you look East you’re looking across hills and flat toward the coast. And you can see for a very long way. It has been decades since I looked down from there and it would take a helicopter ride to see it again…
Young people… get out and see the world while your body can take you places.

Now that is a nice photo :heart_eyes_cat:

How are you liking the CS61?

My first ever one drop and definitely still my favorite.

Got this 10+ years ago, but lemme tell ya, it’s as smooth as butter.
