Butterfly XT with duncan fingerspin caps maybe?
Throwing this poly throw I made yesterday. The material looks a lot like one of them new-fandangled Turning Point magnesium yoyos. In fact, the density of the material is almost the same.
So much Ti out there these days that they are becoming rather passé. However this @rnsy Atmos Projects Ari Clear Electroplate with Ultralight SEs is purely phenomenal laced with some Golden Mowl 1st Class Kitty Fat.
Maybe another niche to tap into, especially if they play as equally smooth.
It took a little bit for it to grow on me, but I have to agree. I threw some 2g Infinity Layer ring caps in it, and it’s a beast.
With that setup you cover 3 different widths you can play El MiJo with—that’s awesome!
It might be the sound of the thin walls. Have fun!
Its a really fun yoyo. Very happy with the play, and the customizability. Would highly recommend including a 4mm wide bearing in the next drop. Perfect middle ground between 0A optimized half spec, and straight unresponsive full size.
Guys… please don’t tell my Panoramas that I’ve been throwing my Rebirth WAY more than them recently. They’ll be very jealous at how much this yoyo has grown on me.
Damn dude, I wouldn’t be posting on the forums if you don’t want your panorama’s to find out
The SM on that Rebirth is so good too!!
How are you playing the 4 mm one? Responsive or unresponsive?
Visited a tri- country point today. Was throwing the Lagrange with one leg in Germany , the other in Belgium and the yoyo hanging on the Netherlands today. Didn’t stay there long but got a cool pic out of it.
I’m playing it responsive, but it leans more toward semi-responsive like “responsive 1A play”, rather than a snappy 0A style response.
Its a distinctly different play experience than the 3mm bearing you shipped it with.
