I am also loving the Kamuraiju. Somehow reminds me of the Rebirth on the string. I really enjoy the weight reduction, marginally slimmer profile, and no projection grooves in comparison.
Also, spikes are the correct choice for this one. They look too good for me to use anything else.

never. I would never give away the most powerful tool in my suspense-creating-arsenal (the payout). but, I will say a few things about the design that I haven’t told to anyone else publicly, out of my deep love for the YYE forums:
-it has a small bearing (size A)
-it plays like the YYR messiah and the tourney had a baby (plays “solid”, very good for “flow tech” type 1A stuff, also absolutely shreds for 5A)
-it is undersized-midsized (about 2-inches diameter)
-it is the unnamed Duncan yo-yo I have been using in my more recent instagram posts
-there will also be a C-bearing version (there is a C-bearing prototype in addition to the A-bearing one)

lol, I’d like to make this yo-yo as affordable as possible, so don’t worry too much about your wallet. not sure when production will be finished. I’d like to see 'em materialize sometime before March 2023? we’ll see though.
