Well life has been wild. Moved into a new house and various other things going on. All my tops are in storage, but I found this one in my truck. So here is a little goofing off. First trompo throw this year?? lol.

I really want to try some different materials. I REALLY liked Erik’s delrin strommel, and the tpu big red that @TryCatchThrow made me, but my short circuit just feels… violent

I think out of all the tops I own, my Strummol8’s are the best. I love the delrin and they can definitely take a beating, but really play awesome. I like the weight as well. Only have a few wood tops, but they are pretty fun to play though!

I love my S8s. One thing I have learned over time is that different tops feel totally different as my practice continues. Some tops that just made no sense to me now feel like they play awesome.

I feel the same about the older yo-yos in my collection! Turns out it wasn’t the yoyo that was kinda wack, it was me!!

I love tops,out of newton kansas, name is chad martin on Facebook too with some vids but I hear ya on this,I was gonna say the same thing but thought I would at least post a comment/response ,keep posting and throwing ,were out here and tops are fun as hell

Currently spinning two short circuits, an electric, a trompos comets cobra, and a couple I’ve 3d printed. Working on designing and printing one with replaceable tips, and can be switched out for fixed or bearing.
