Roped in another freelance graphic design project - one way to keep my mind active and not rusty during these times I’m out of work. Also working on 5a bee stings.
Thinking I might continue working on my second world in Mario Maker 2, plan is making a full 8-world game.

A bunch of us from work went to a Chinese restaurant one time and ordered a family platter of some “spicy” beef. When the waitress brought it out she pointed to these little orange peppers about an inch long and told us not to eat them. One macho guy sez he can eat anything hot. Popped one in his mouth and the next minute he was on the floor screaming for water.

A little over a year later, the moment I was waiting for came around - purchasing Mortal Kombat 11. Opted to buy it for PC via steam.
Last year when the game debuted, I was originally going to buy it for Switch. The idea that I still had to download the game even if I purchased the physical media put me off. The game also had a rocky start with artificially difficult grinding to save up currency (to tempt players into microtransactions).
A year later looking back at the game, I saw that some updates were done to ease the grind and make it more fun than a chore to play. I was also waiting for an “all inclusive” version of the game that would have included DLC. Today I saw that they have a new DLC pack coming out and saw that a “definitive edition” was available that will include the new expansion when it releases, all for the same price as what the base game would have been if I bought it at launch…glad I waited. Oh, and “friendships” are back!

Just got fresh fitted with a cut. I’ve had a Mohawk for the past 15+ years and most folks freak out on that rare once every 2-3 years where I mow the full lawn. Happy to say I’m blessed with a proper racing stripe to match my sideburns.
