Fight the Power @beeebon!

I havenât added to my comic collection in over a decade, but I still try to swap out what I have in my frames once or twice a year. Felt like doing so today. I have a few relatively valuable books, but I usually frame ones with sentimental value or downright badass covers. Wolverine #90 (left) ticks both boxes.
Went âyoyo shoppingâ for an upcoming birthday for a friend thatâs marveled my yoyo tricks, heâs been wanting to learn and has the basics down. I got him a Butterfly XT last year for Xmas as a âgatewayâ and thought it would be a good idea to get him something he can learn with that will be forgiving and had to sit for a second and think to myself âwhat would I get if I were going for an unresponsive but didnât want to ding up a metal.â Ended up going with a delrin h-shaped throw that I know will be durable.
Of course while I was at it, I pulled the trigger on a Legendary Terrarian as I loved the original.
Oh, man. Classic X-Men issue! The Byrne / Austin run was my favorite! When I was in highschool I collected everything Byrne did. His stuff always looked best when Terry Austin inked it. John Byrne and Frank Miller are my favorite comic book artists and have had the biggest influence on my own art.
Went out walking with the kids in the park today. ![]()
Did a little video on a new combo Iâm working on but the execution of the tricks are pretty bad.
Trying to get a 5x Brother GT in a row from different entries combo going.
Yeah, although most of my stuff is 90s and early 2000s I do have a decent stash of 80s X-Men. Always liked Byrne and Miller as well, although Adam Kubert (see Wolverine #90) was my favorite growing up. He was followed in the Wolverine series by Leinil Francis Yu, who became a close second.
Watching a Law & Order bingeathon on WE TV.
I think my park-going withdrawals/quarantine blues is kicking in, watched this video multiple times in a row now (after having a dream of getting ready to ride only to never having it happen)
I have been on this monster of a coaster about 11 times now and itâs definitely the best Iâve been on.
Aside from the quarantine blues, not a whole lot working on follows, jade whips and iron whips as my slacks are lacking.
That was my favorite show for a long time. I guess it still is.
Very cool! The scariest part of any rollercoaster to me are the sections where all kinds of beams are around and over the car and it makes me feel like my head will get lopped off.
Ah yes, what we call the âHead Choppersâ, and then thereâs the âfoot choppersâ on the floorless/suspended coasters.
Iâm trying to learn 5a basics ![]()
I loved Space Mountain but it was frightening being in the dark. I kept expecting to get hit any second!
THATâS CHEATING YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL FRIDAY!
Also apparently the YYE forums donât believe capslock is cruise control for cool, and that the above sentence is evidently not a sentence.
Haha Adam,
I have this trick a week thing going on here (one of the threads) that starts every Sunday of the week.
We decided to start a little early starting today.
Who knew that adding a counterweight (a bouncy ball in my case) makes you back to a noob learning how to catch from scratch but makes it so much fun at the same time.
I am having a blast tonight learning 5a (cheating or not
)
CAPS LOCK FOR EFFECT ![]()

Iâm going to respond with made up names every time someone calls me Adam.
Yes, Moonman, 5a is hard and, to me, a complete 180 from 1a. Going all in in May though.
Oh â â â â Chris, lol sorry, I always thought your name was Adam ![]()
I am 5a committed this month too
