that’s cool!
I’d like that twice.
I volunteered to work as it is the College open day. I now wish I wasn’t so eager to look keen zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Omg any b-grade I can snag? That looks awesome
Im launching full on chemical warfare on this booming and uninvited ant invasion.
Cold blooded shmurder is on the menu tonight.
Got these zombie dogs (barghests for Descent 2nd Ed) painted up finally. The grey one was tonight; the brown ones this Sunday. The grey one still needs a few more coats around the rim and varnish, but not too bad for under 2 hours.
Wow! Those turned out great!
Thanks!!! Army Painter washes are really talent in a bottle haha.
Hey I play Decent and paint figs too!
@Dust Yaaaas! I’m still pretty new. Trying to paint more since I really enjoy it and we acquired a large number of minis so far (mostly Reaper).
So far we just have the base Descent 2nd Ed and one Characters & Monsters pack. Goal is to get them all painted before Christmas week.
I havnt played in a while, but have nearly all the expansions. WAY too many to keep track of. We had a rule in our group that a fig could not be put into play unless it was painted. We had days we would play, and other days wed all paint. We werent great or fast, but it was a great activity. Good job! yours look really nice!!
I play Imperial assault .
I enjoy the painting up to the point of trying to paint eyes. haha…I end up making the figures look super derpy and it drives me nuts.
Any tips?
That’s what we’re doing right now . Think I got the ettins up next, followed by the gobbos.
I’ve not worked up the courage to try eyes yet. I just paint them white or another color and call it a day haha.
get the TINIEST brush you can find. I mean stupid tiny. Go to a specialty art shop and ask them for the smallest brush they got.
I tried using the Army Painter Psycho brush…but the pupils ended up not matching up which is why the character looks all derpy now lol. I tried to paint over it, but now there’s too much paint and she’s lost a lot of her facial details. /grrr
maybe acetone the fig to get the old paint off and try again? assuming that acetone doesnt eat away at the plastic itself. Spot test on the bottom of one.
You know you need to use colors other than just green, right?
