werrd hour vs Dv888

First off, you’re taking this wayy to seriously. It was supposed to be a lighthearted remark pointing out how coincidentally (and somewhat comically) similar the two are. Obviously MagicYoYos did not invent the splash pattern. The whole point here is just that the colorway is not the biggest eye-candy in my opinion, especially after seeing the yoyo in person – where I also noticed resemblance not just in the colorway but also the finishing texture (which I actually disliked). Now, I understand that perhaps you regard similarities in yoyos as something degrading (many in the community do), so a remark such as this may upset you. (Another possibility is that perhaps you regard MagicYoYos as an inferior brand? Though I’d rather believe that this is not the case. Obviously you have the intellectual capacity to not have such an ignorant prejudice.) But I must point out that this is a rather misguided notion; similarity does not undermine originality. The remark was merely a lighthearted, neutral observation, as I have no such preconception.

Secondly, you got the information all wrong about the metals.

Yes, lighthearted because your initial remark said you would not want the yoyo because of how it looks like a Magic Yoyo?.. If the whole point was that the colorway was not appealing, you would have said that, and have completely disregarded the idea that the Hour looks like a Magic Yoyo. You’re both off topic.

Now, resuming the ACTUAL discussion here. I’ve been told the Hour is very good. I’ve only played the Dv888 though, and it also plays quite well.

Better?

Can we get back to talking about how great the Hour is? Thanks.
