Vosun GEATS 9 Unboxing

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place for the post, but appreciate the indication.

I’m not an expert thrower but I’m good at making content. So I did this short unboxing for the newest yoyo by Vosun.

I hope you guys enjoy it.

Two questions, but before… Thanks dude!
I am on the fence about this one, so:
1 Is it heavy?
2 Snags easy like a V shape usually does?
3 Does it break your hand with its corners or is it gentle on a powerful bind cuz of the width?

I had a hertz y03 and threw it to the garbage due to how hard it hit the hand / fingers.
PS I don’t count too well :stuck_out_tongue:

It was a tough decision. I had an internal finger injury for 4 months due to getting hit sideways on the edge of the yoyo. I tried replacing the pads and bearing but the snags didnt get any better either. After 6 months of inconsistency and killer returs, some unexpected it went to yoyo heaven with another magic yoyo, the k1. A brand that almost made me quit yoyoing, 1A and 2A (Ghz D1). Now I am actually enjoying and learning knowing its me, not a bad yoyo, for me anyways. Some people doesn’t have the same problem with that brand. Peace.

I’m not an expert player but I think this yoyo sits on the heaviest side. However it’s curious how floaty it turns when it gets a good amount of speed. Wipe tricks I can do almost in slow motion! Hehehe

About the snags, it’s not frequent with me but it happens some time. Although it didn’t hurt me like my Topyo Colossus 7 which is a smaller and lighter yoyo.

The Geats9 feels comfortable on the returns and it’s smooth like butter.

But if you want a more lighter and wider yoyo, I recommend you the Yozean GUSH. Rim weighted, floaty and lighter than the Vosun.

Hope you not throw your Hertz on the trash, I still throwing mine and despite the size, it works like a charm for me.

Yup, to the trash it went, along with a K1. It was mint but I didn’t have the heart to sell it and have someone getting an injury, I am still recovering from mine. Too sharp, too light, too snaggy. I am a bit too strong and aggressive playing… and sloppy.
On that note I noticed that most yoyo"s die out on me too soon, so I switched to a bi metal and top quality plastics, right before giving up yoyoing due to the frustration of bad yoyo"s in the span of 8 months.
Problem ended this february, I figured each body build and strength have their rightful yoyo"s. I would have loved to test them in shops before buying them, but here in France yoyoing is not even relevant, save for artisanal wooden ones. Strings? Just forget it. Its all hit and miss buying online. MYY big miss. Topyo, a disaster! That Geats looks dope though, it has almost the same size as a one of my plastics, just a bit more narrow. I think I might look into when I get a bit better at playing, for now is just officially started.
Thanks a lot for your unboxing video, I wish more people showed the colors when spinning. Good stuff, man.
