Vibe obsession hurting yoyo community?

Sure

Ppl still making Bapezilla remakes

Grind Machine was better and more accurately suggested the direction of modern yoyo play than 888

Plenty of dope YoYos out there no-one looks at twice

Please specify for the laymen,

YYF Ben quote…“We manufacture domestically we use all the materials.”

This seems contrary to what YoHans stated here on the forum once upon a time, whereas, his short list of domestically manufactured yos was less than a handful.

What decision criteria does YYF use in determining origin of manufacturing? How or Why do you choo$e to help feed Chinese workers, vs. Chandler AZ (USA) employees/residents?

Note:I’m not a hardcore loyalist when it comes to being made in the USA, however, I often strive to sustain my local economy when ever possible. It’s Hard!

Lastly, let it be known, I have the most respect for YYF above all. I admire the disruption in the industry caused by your technological innovations, and all the hardcore “Sweat-Equity” put forth in glorifying this toy World Wide with your promotions and choice of Factory Team members. Trend setter are better…YYF Reigns Supreme!

Any chance YYF is working on integrating a more sustainable packaging option for your product distribution? It is time!!!

Thanks for your tireless dedication.
Yo have thoroughly enriched my life.

less than a handful, but we still do it. We have our first new made in usa yoyo in 3 years coming before Easter.

We feed people in Chandler… ME and my kids. It’s a global economy. We sell yo-yos everywhere. If we only sold yoyo’s in Chandler it would make more sense to build everything here. we dont. our top selling stores by volume and dollars are not in the USA and the global supply chain makes it expensive to ship from here to many of them. We are constantly exploring new options near and far. Direct at home printing isn’t too far away too.

Sustainable packaging: You are the second person to ask. EVER. More people should. Makes it easier for us to try harder.

WEDGE was the first step. We reduced INK used by 90%, we used unbleached card stock and it was our first step with ANY consideration. We are also working on USEABLE packaging. stackable display boxes done better so the package adds value rather than to landfill. I hate blister but a lot of retail demands it.

As much as I hate blister packs, and love the regular boxes like One Drop uses, if you delivered 100 yo-yos to Walmart in those boxes, half of them would be emptied by shop lifters. Blister packs are not just for display. Note that most are too big to comfortably fit in a coat pocket.

I’ll trade you 14 assorted Duncan and Yomega’s for anything from One Drop or G2.
