I get what you’re saying.
I’ve had yoyos come in that vibe but are incredible players. Sometimes they have just enough vibe to hear and feel but not enough to affect how it plays on the string.
It’s important to remember that these are spinning pieces of metal that you pretty much throw as hard as you can, indoors and outdoors. All in all, don’t worry about it - sooner or later you’ll get dings and vibe, and you can either let it bother you and never pick it up or ignore it and keep going.

If you want actionable advice, work on your throw - you can eliminate the need to stabilize with a grind if you put the ‘power stroke’ of the throw further away from the moment you ‘drop’ it in the air. The longer distance between your finger and the yoyo will overall average a lower amount of tilt during the moment the yoyo is gaining speed, which is the precursor to an unstable spin. My worst throws are usually when I’m putting as much power into it as I can from frame 1.
Happy throwing!

From the day it was released until today and beyond, that video achieved Legendary Status.

I could watch that video every day of the year and still laugh and smile at two friends that are not only incredible yo-yo players, but have some pretty good acting chops too.

Towards the beginning when Jensen tries to find his mouth with that Red Vine Twist, I immediately thought to myself, this is Gold…And you can’t rewrite that dialogue. Every line and every facial expression is impeccably timed and fits the flow perfectly.

Timeless…

It’s the best! The part where Charles whips his hat off to get the string over his head, and then replaces it in one smooth motion makes me laugh out loud every time. Then I get an odd look from my wife. At least you guys get me!
