Special Tribute and Giveaway Fundraiser for My Mother
Hello everyone,
As you all know, yo-yoing is more than a hobby—it’s a unique community that brings together people from all walks of life. I’m constantly amazed by the diversity here; we’ve got everyone from kids and teens to parents, professionals, and even grandparents. Despite our differences, there’s something unexplainable that unites us in this passion.
For me, one of the biggest supporters of my journey with yo-yos was my mother. From the very start, she encouraged me to keep going, even when I doubted myself or felt like giving up. It was her belief in me that kept me on this path long enough for it to turn into a true passion. Later, as my collection grew, she would always point out her favorites—always the green ones. I know many of you might have felt that same encouragement from a loved one and the same way.
In honor of her memory, I’m hosting a special community fundraiser. With any donation you make, you’ll be entered to win one of three incredible yo-yos, each donated by some of the most awesome, supportive and generous people in our community. Originally I was going to use yo-yos from my own collection as the gifts, I was even trying to acquire a monkey flyer for this purpose. But some one reached out to me on that post and suggested I ask for help. And I’m glad they did. The response was better than I could have imagined. So here are the yo-yos we will be giving out as gifts.
• The YoYoFactory Pragma in lime green—a nod to my mom’s favorite color—donated by a prominent leader in this community who will remain anonymous at this time.
• One Drop’s “Tuesday Market 54” a stunning yoyo donated by my friends at One Drop.
• Monkey Finger Design “Psychosis 2 Evil”—a rare, limited-run yo-yo donated by my friend Ray at Monkey Finger Design. . In addition to the 2 evil yoyo ray has also included 1 buff, 1 gorilious lubricus, 3x10 packs of string, 1 grip garage!! Wow!
Here’s how to participate:
• Any Donation under $25: You’ll be entered to win either the Pragma or the Tuesday Market 54.
• Any Donation over $25: You’ll have a chance to receive the Monkey Finger yo-yo.
Any donation over $50 and you will have a chance to receive the monkey finger as well as the Pragma and Tuesday Market 54! So your name will be entered in both draws… So you will have multiple chances to receive a yoyo. Unless you specify that you would only like ur name entered in one or the other.
The fundraiser will run until this Sunday, with recipients chosen at random. I will film the draw of the recipients and reach out to the winners immediately after. If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, it will mean the world to me as I honor my mom’s memory in this way. Your support helps with the costs of her services, and knowing this community is standing by me during this time would mean everything.

We originally made a go fund me for the same purpose that a few of you were kind enough to donate too already. However we are still 98% away from our goal, which is the reason for this event. Since this event is specific to this community I have made a new fundraizr campaign that is specific to this event in order to keep track of those who choose to participate. I will include a link to our original go fund me as well just for full transparency.
