Yes, that is true. But I wouldn’t agree that psychology is basically pseudoscience. There has been plenty of empirical evidence that supports the theories in psychology and scientist have been able to reproduce the various studies supporting those theories. Reproducibility of a result is a big part of the scientific method. However, Emoto’s experiment cannot be reproduced to obtain the same results, which means that the experiment is flawed and the results cannot be proven. As such, it is deemed as pseudoscience.
