Just give yourself a little time. I personally like to play a variety of different yoyos. Sure, there’s some that i like better, but out of the 50+ that I own, I play most of them from time to time. As you gain experience, you’ll likely start to see differences in the way they play.

I don’t know if we want to consider it “undersized” as it is really small but to this day i have yet to find anything that compares to a mini star 2 on the string

The Mini Star 2 is a very nice one. It’s kind of on that cusp where some would argue… undersized or mini… but it does have mini in the name. 
It’s a real sweet throw regardless.

You all are awesome and thanks for all the posts/messages. I still am prolly going to get rid of the MK1 ring bearer but I’m going to keep the edition forma, motionyoyo perpendicular and the knotcreators s2.
I have my buddy the yoyofriends ultracut I just did not like it was to big so I’ll either find a decent undersize trade on the Ring bearer or I’ll sell it to find a new undersize. I’ve been really interested in featherspins but I would look at others. I’m just more happy with the smaller stuff.

Thanks everybody for all your suggestions. I decided to hold off just a little bit. I’m buying another yo-yo the problem is it was I purchased five yo-yos in the last two weeks. Yes, I like the undersized better but I don’t technically know what I really want for another one. I do want a feather spin but I don’t want to spend 90 bucks right now. I’m about to go on vacation next week. I’ve been looking on the forums The BST area. I’m not really seeing a lot of undersize.
I really like the flying lemon but that is definitely on the higher priced side so I’m still looking. If you guys see anything on the buy sell trade you think I’d be interested? Let me know. If you have anything that I would be interested in let me know. I’m kind of interested in staying around the $60 shipped Mark in the US.
So far this is what I have
Mk1 ring bearer, edition forma, the sage, knotcreators s2, motionyoyo perpendicular with brass rings.
I’ve had a couple of offers on the MK1 ring bearer but I have to be honest, I don’t know if I like the offers so I’m going to hold off.
The issue that I’m finding is that I’m addicted to buying and I’m sitting here all day long looking at what I want to buy instead of actually practicing. So I need to switch that around and practice and stop focusing on wanting to buy things

been there brother, there’s too many fascinating yoyos for sale. I don’t know what to tell you other than be strong and go look through all the Trick a week threads from past years (should be linked to in the first post of trick a week) and watch some tutorials till you can find something that feels like you can do it. Don’t forget to collect tricks too!
